About Our Centre

Precious Cargo at St Peters is equipped with three outdoor play areas, a playground built in 2019, two verandahs, and numerous established trees. The centre also boasts a kitchen cooking platform and a music room. We are also passionate about celebrating diverse cultures through various celebrations and learning experiences.

Precious Cargo’s environmental and agricultural focus is evident at St Peters, with compost bins, pet fish , and vegetable gardens Additionally, our much praised Community Links program has seen this centre form strong connections with the local library, Woolworths and Happy Feet Dance.

    5 Day Week Discount
    Children enrolled for 5 days per week receive a 5% discount on fees.
    Centre Pets
    Part of the Precious Cargo family are our wonderful Centre pets. Come meet them!
    Dinner
    We understand work arrangements and schedules mean that dinner time can be a stressful experience. We provide your child dinner if they attend their Centre until late.
    ELC Program
    Funded kindergarten 4, emphasizing school readiness, and a tailored program to meet your child's needs and learning.
    Holiday Discounts
    50% discount on holidays. Limits apply.
    Inclusive Support
    All educators are trained in allergy awareness, CPR and first aid and we welcome children who require additional support.
    Indoor and Outdoor Environments
    Children have access to purpose built indoor and outdoor classrooms.
    Infant Formula
    Just like supplying solid meals to older children, we also provide formula for our infants.
    Montessori Curriculum
    Purposeful environments, emphasizing real life learning and experiences and trained educators in the Montessori method of learning.
    Nappies and Wipes
    No need to provide your child's nappies and wipes as these are included in your fees.
    No Charge on Public Holidays
    If your child is enrolled on a day that falls on a Public Holiday, you will not be charged the daily fee.
    Sunscreen
    Sun safety is highly important, and practices to ensure children are safe from the sun is imbedded into the program and routines. Sunscreen is provided to all children who attend the Centre.

    Rabia Nagpal

    Centre Manager

    Hello, my name is Rabia Nagpal and I have been with Precious cargo since 2016. I have had many roles within the company including Assistant Educator, Team leader, working my way up to the role of an assistant director/Educational Leader. I hold Masters in English literature and I possess Diploma in Early childhood education and care.

    “Play is the work of child”. I believe that children constantly learn from the world around them. Therefore, here at Precious cargo, we aim to provide a prepared environment, which is child centred and promote freedom for children to explore the materials of their choice. I enjoy every part of my job as it is very rewarding, providing the opportunity to influence and shape the lives of young children. I strongly believe in working with partnership with the families, as children are much more likely to reach their full potential in their life when their family and education and care services work together. I look forward to keep coaching and mentoring my team to ensure that we provide safe, secure and nurturing environment to all our children. It is a joy to be a part of children’s journey each day.

    "Both of my kids attended Precious Cargo St Peters. Everything about the centre was amazing. We loved the educators, they really go above and beyond to provide care for the kids, organise fun activities and create memories. There was many fun activities such as music, cooking, excursions etc. Educators are very friendly and easy to talk to, the kids really took a liking to them. The chef was great, the kids always loved their meals, and they provide breakfast, lunch and dinner as well are morning and afternoon tea which was so helpful when we had early drop offs and late pickups.
